My Father
Normally I write the blogs on behalf of my father because he didn't want to be botherd with having to send out his email and then having to post the blog, but this blog entry is my own and is an update to my father's last entry. If you are following this blog with expectations to see entries about my father's travels, I apologize.
Last Friday my father became very ill. It was completely unexpected. We are all in shock. To make a long story short, he had a terrible infection in his colon. This quickly turned into septic shock. His organs quickly failed and he is now hooked up to machines for survival. We plan to take him off the machines tomorrow and let him be in peace. My mother is doing as well as can be expected. She is a strong woman, but is angry that life is not always fair. The two of them were a very special couple. I will keep you updated as more information is available.
